Last night, Manchester City celebrated its historic treble win with a fan-filled parade through the streets of Manchester. The club recently achieved a significant milestone off the pitch too, with Brand Finance – the world’s leading brand valuation consultancy – declaring it the most valuable football brand in the world, surpassing Real Madrid for the first time.

It’s been a remarkable transformation that started 15 years ago. Music’s relationship with the club stretches back to before the Abu Dhabi takeover in 2008, and spans design, strategy and interior design projects.

From badge consultations to kit launches, Christmas retail campaigns to pitch side LEDs, global membership schemes to Covid-era seat covers, we’ve been there. It’s been an incredible journey, and this seems a good moment to reflect on the valuable learnings it offers for others.
